Walter Marcyan was another that did well, starting up Marcy Gym equipment. Marvin Eder had a good plumbing company. Bob Gadja did well with gyms and his medical practice. A lot of the older guys did o.k. for themselves from a livelihood stand point, probably because it was more expect of you to make something of yourself in general back then.

Good point. The problem is most guys today only try to make it in the "fitness industry".
Guys from Arnold's era realized that the biggest career advance was going to be made OUTSIDE of bodybuilding.
