Whenever I enter or leave a store, I always hold the door for people. The other day I was leaving a store and held the door for some women who was in her 30's. It's a knee jerk response in so many people. Mid conversation if a text comes in, many people think nothing of  grabbing their phones and looking at them. Sadly - this seems to happen when people are driving too. That shit pisses me off.

I would recommend finding another weapon - an Uzi will not be very effective at that range. I could see it coming in handy in an attempt to evac though

LOL, I don't run into people but had a couple woman run into me while on their phones.

1. I was on a cruise ship and was standing with my back leaning against the wall.
A bitchy looking MILF comes along texting like a maniac AND holding one her kids via tether cord attached to a harness ( 100% serious).
Oblivious to the rest of the world , she gradually veers a few feet and walks straight into me STANDING WITH MY BACK ON THE WALL!

Of course, it's my fault and she gets all pissy at me. I just chuckled after seeing how she gave her tethered rug-rat whiplash when she crashed into me.

2. I was on a 5 lane highway in dense traffic. I was in the far , right lane, chugging along with the slow traffic flow.
One lane over and a few feet ahead was this one stressed out MILF in an SUV. She was texting with her phone, fixing her hair/make up in the mirror, trying to eat something between yelling at her kids in the back, etc. Oblivious to the rest of us, she slowly drifted over into my lane and nearly hit me.

Despite never moving from my lane, in her mind , it was my fault. She actually yelled out her passenger window at me to watch where I was going. I ignored her, got off on my exit and thanked GOD I never had kids with any bitchy female.
