Here's Casey Viator incline pressing 480lbs x10. One strong MF!
If you actually believe Casey could incline 480 for 10, you're plain ignorant to matters concerning human strength performance.
So a BODYBUILDER, weighing less than 250-pounds bodyweight, 30 years ago, could do what almost
all contemporary 300-plus elite powerlifters/bench specialists cannot?

And don't mention guys like Levrone and Coleman, either. The former, while an unusually fantastic pro-bodybuilder presser when maximally gassed, could never incline such poundage for reps; the latter was a freakish dumbbell presser (MUCH less so with a barbell), but even so, he, too, would have been helplessly pinned attempting a feat anywhere close to 480x10 on incline.
Besides one not being able to see anything beyond "405" in that photo, I can assure you he either DID NOT lift the barbell (merely posed) or had at least two-a-side balsa plates.
I know all about this shit. I arranged photo shoots when I was at MuscleMag. Fake plates were very regularly used.
Casey was a strong guy, no doubt. But such a claim/belief is essentially to admit to not knowing a damn thing about this sort of thing.
There are only a handful of ELITE bench specialists who could even suggest being capable of such a performance and
not be laughed into oblivion.
Meltdown complete.
