We eliminated most of our debt except my truck, boat and mortgages on both homes. The truck and boat will be payed off within 4 months. We payed off our CC's and cut them up but we keep them open.

Many manufacturers do %0 financing.

When I got my last car, I put 70% down and took 0% financing on the remaining - I'll take 0% financing over cash any day of the week.
