im sure putting a 1 day course on your resume will be looked upon the same as a 4 year education by companies 
hell if thats the case one could stack up 40-50 years of education in just a few weeks be it nutrition, rocket science or whatever

Is one day going to make you a prep expert, no, but at least they have some "education" towards helping people. I honestly don't see the hate on Dave holding these courses....especially the contest prep He's actually good at teaching and a lot of people sign up for his classes and online courses.  I wouldn't say his 1 day course equals a 4 year nutritional degree but you'll take home a lot of information. 

A lot of guys have used his courses and prepped guys locally for shows....usually paying off the cost of it in just 3-4 clients.  I say that its a good investment on that scope of things

a guru needs at least 1 4 year degree in the field, preferably 2. PLUS at least 10 years at Olympic or national standard practice.

then perhaps they are in the guru league. and im not talking some lame nutrition degree either... a 4 year degree in nutrition plus a 4 year or 2 year masters in sports science or chemistry or biology or similar. maybe a guru is only those who have a PhD.

the standards are low in the fitness industry.
