anyone who is goo goo'd over apple need to take a good hard look at themselves...perhaps the greatest marketing campaign since Coke.

'come in fools'...'let us sell you hardware at inflated prices with software predominantly built for free by enthusiasts and force you to run it only on our products'...

I just upgraded to the 6 Plus and love the fuckin' thing! iMovie is a breeze to make short clips and post them directly to YouTube.

I'll never own an Iphone.

I like Samsung's products in general - I've got a great LED TV made by them and my Galaxy Note is still going strong. Like the look of the Note 4 and might get it when it comes down in price for the handset only.

This is the story:

I had android phone up until I had a droid x. I recorded a video of my son scoring a touchdown in a flag football game. The video was "corrupt". (ended up fixing on PC). Anyway after that, I switched to an iPhone because, at the time, iOS "worked" and didn't have the android bugginess. I went from a 4 to a 5 to a 6.

Now, Android has caught up, and even surpassed iOS in some areas, so now it's just preference. I was going to go with a Nexus, but got a stupid good deal on the 6, and decided saving the cash was worth more to me than a different OS.

They're all great pieces of hardware. I may give my daughter my iPhone 6 and upgrade to android in the future....who knows?

everyone with an iphone I know has had to replace the screen at about half the cost of replacing the whole phone

closed protocol business model

exploiting margins through exclusivity

clever stuff

but im not buying in to it

That's the bullshit tradeoff you have to do if you want Apple products. Although you can get most screens replaced 3rd party for $100.

Gave up on my I-phone/ AT&T top tier plan and went with a budget android smart phone with upgrade data package from Cricket for only $45 a month. No difference in service and the price is less then half.

Had iphone 4....bought nexus 5, had it 5 moths, sold it. Android aint ready yet, shit app, shit software...

Chaged back to iphone 4, love it. Consider to buy a iphone 5 bcz the 4 is to slow surfing the net...

Iphone is bulletproof. Best product I ever bought! People at Apple are very talanted. Makeing procut that never ever give u any problem...everything is so easy! Hardware software design superior any other brand!

Agreed. Ive had both. Iphone is superior.

Mac computers are superior to PCs.

And I am not even a computer geek. In fact, I know absolutely nothing about technology. Yet, all of my apple products have worked better than any other products I have purchased.

As far as computers and phones its apple for me allday,samsung for tvs.i cant strand droid operating systems.ive got the iphone 5s and il keep it for another year or so,i dont need the latest iphone just one that works.
