Thats great and all. so why cant they pass the fucking ranger test?... If a woman passes it,  she's in. Problem is they cant and they want the standards dropped.

You are only as strong as your weakest link.

Women can never ever ever ever be in an elite combat unit.. These units requirements weed out highly capable above average men.. so elite physical standards are the domain of the elite male. The best female athletes will get murdered by very average male athletes in the same sports. Combat units are no different.

So many guys want to be SEALS and Rangers but they don't have what it takes physically or academically.  Now because women can't make the physical standards they are going to lower the elite standards. Just madness.

 They are doing the same thing in New York Fire Department physical test so women can pass. I want to know that a person is in good enough shape to run in a basement and drag my unconscious ass out of a burning building up a flight of stairs. No one needs a fireman gassing running up flights of stairs with fire equipment.  This liberalism is a disease that is spreading across the country.

Is combat experience making Ranger School unnecessary?

"But others, including some who are Ranger qualified, believe that combat trumps training, that the hard-earned Ranger tab worn on the left shoulder after completing a brutal 61-day regimen through mountains, woods and swamps, on minimal food and sleep, is no substitute for years spent fighting real-life enemies in Afghanistan or Iraq.

NCOs with extensive combat experience are good enough for some.

“They’re as qualified as anybody else,” said Sgt. Maj. Thomas Dartez, who earned his tab in 1985, served with the 2nd Ranger Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, and taught at the school twice, most recently in 2004.

Combat is ultimately the best teacher “because you learn from experience,” Dartez said, using roadside bombs as an example. “Having a tab doesn’t prepare you for that.”
