A little unrelated but this thread made me think of it; I can't stand how people act all tough behind the wheel of their car and talk shit and say things they would never say to us getbiggers face to face. I literally had an old lady one pull up to next to me and talk shit about my driving (I was doing nothing wrong btw). Also had some fat 45% bf whale bitch flip me off last week for politely bipping my horn when she was just sitting at a green light. These people would never have the courage to do this to my face. Don't get me started on the incident I had with a pilot car driver. I mean come on you have the worlds most brain dead job, you drive in front of behind a big rig driver who has a real job. News flash you may have a twirling yellow light on your roof but you are not an emergency services vehicle, just a failure at life.

Seeing as you ride a motorbike you know it's idiotic to pull-out in front of people that are aggitated; Mistake #1. The guy was purposely slow off the line at the traffic light and rode considerably slower than the other traffic causing further frustration; Mistake #2. I feel worse for the bike than for the passive-aggressive idiot who rode on it.

Did the guy on the motorcycle need to tell the guy who possibly was illegally on his cell phone to get off? No,
But, he didn't deserve to be hit by a car, either. The guy in the BMW committed a criminal act---he did a hit and run...that was worse. Now it's going to be worse for him in the long run. Civil Court, Criminal Court, attorney's fees, court fees, possible jail time, restitution. Loss of his precious 3 series and other things down the road. All because he made a stupid decision. And if it is a law that he is not allowed on his cell phone, he in turn hit somebody, for being told not to break the law in the first place.

Actually, Texting (or whatever you do with your phone) while Driving is very dangerous for others.

So for safety's sake, it was a good thing he reminded the driver.

Now, if it was a beneficial thing for himself to do it is another question.

He is not a police-officer, it's not his job. By telling someone a thing like that can often create trouble.

It was expected what would happen.

He (the hipster) hoped probably and the car driver would put down his phone and then drive on his merry way, enabling the hipster to have a good youtube-vid to show for everyone how cool and responsible he was.

Motorcycles weigh a fair bit more than 200-300 pounds, think 300-500 lbs and upwards. They're hardly the pingpong balls people assume them to be bouncing between traffic. A motorcycle can cut a passenger car in half if carrying enough velocity upon impact.

Still the same concept applies of one being the larger and less likely to suffer [serious] injury.
