A Big Trouble in Little China remake is on the way today, San Andreas star Dwayne Johnson will headline as Jack Burton, the role iconically played by Kurt Russell in the 1986 original.

So dumb. If the Rock truly is a fan like he says then I hope he got the point that "heroic" Jack Burton was actually the sidekick, and Wang was the real hero.

Everyone who saw the film knows that...

But in the Rocks version, Burton will be the hero, guaranteed.

Jack burton was the funny, clumsy character. The rocks version is going to be completely different approach as we all know

The Rock's whole meathead schtick is old. He ruined the fast and furious series. Not a fan of his anymore. I liked him in Rundown, not really since.

Liked him in Mummy 2 (he brought something new to the franchise), but not really since.

After Scorpion King it became old.

He is perfect as Black Adam in the upcoming Shazam-movie though.
