I just watched "Final Countdown", Shawn Ray's vid, and it's definitely the best BB vid I've seen so far. Some focus in that guy...

You're not wrong...but my mind is very much 100% into the contest prep...my schedule is not, nor my priorities, as I have many things I do with representing BB.com,AMI, EggWhitesInt., appearances, etc.

I chose a long time ago to not push the envelope...I'm willing to accept the fact that not pushing it will keep me out of the top 10 Olympia crew and limit my ability to win shows...thats fine with me.

It's a great vid.

Kinda funny in the beginning of the vid during the introduction, he keeps talking... and talking... and talking... Did repeat himself a bit, but really showed how bad he wanted the Olympia.

This is all pointless, Chic gets more tail and makes more money than Mustafa ever will so at the end of the day who's really successful here? Who's making a better living in the sport? Mustafa never nails his conditioning and cries about his placings. Chic rarely nails his conditioning and still managed to win a show. I'd rather be Chic... I think even Mustafa would rather be Chic... so who cares?

Is it also a fact that the promotors of the Masters screwed up when they invited Jeffers and he showed up looking fantastic?

Is it also a fact that Jeffers was deliberately kept away while onstage during the competition?

1. How can any show be conceived for someone to win, when it's open to any IFBB Pro to compete? Vince, Gary, Flex Wheeler, or any IFBB Pro over 40 could've shown up....

2. Steve Weinberger (promoter) didn't invite anyone...Rusty entered, as we all did.

3. Yes, Rusty was deliberatly kept away, as the judges didn't feel that he deserved to be compared to the top 3 guys...

1. Other than Jeffers the quality of the competitors was not high at the Masters, it actually begs the question why didn't Vince enter and collect an easy win? Clearly this event was designed to give you a win.

2. I was incorrect when I said invite, what I should have said was "allowed to compete". When the promoter allowed Jeffers to compete he screwed but the judges helped him out by not comparing you and he together and by giving him 8th place.

3. Don't you feel guilty that Jeffers was so clearly better than everyone ahead of him that it was laughable? Is this really the win you want? I had you second and Jeffers first so you clearly outclassed everyone else as well but you didn't outclass Jeffers.

I've just spent a few minutes looking at the pictures of the Master's on the bodybuilding.com website and some of the competitors were astoundingly bad.

I can start posting some of them if you don't believe me.

So anyone that wasn't at the show has no valid opinion of where any competitor placed?

What if someone watched the webcast? And please explain to us clueless posters why side by side comparison pictures taken from essentially the same angle can't be used to compare two competitors?

someone post a video of the show, tom prince always argued that pictures only say so much on a 2-dimensional surface. by pics rusty might seemed to have looked better, but in live real life, this may not be the case, to all of you who were not at the show. if gary strydom, vince taylor,chick, flex, dave hawk, jim quinn, rusty, and a few other masters guys did the show that would be cool, that would be a real bbing contest. I think flex could win naturally, would be awesome to see.

Question2- people can have any opinion they want...who would you believe? Someone who was there, or someone looking at pictures?

Question3- ...because pictures are 1 dimentional...video tells the story....being there, you can see competitors actually next to each other, hitting poses at the same time, etc....thats why we have aa LIVE show with judges 15 ft. away.

Considering you're the Athlete's Rep. do you know why Vince didn't compete in the Master's?

I'm curious why you chose to compete in the Master's against such terrible competition considering you just became eligible and since most other top level and eligible pros didn't compete?

Jeffers was your only real competition and the judges never let him stand next to you, very strange.

I didn't choose to compete against "terrible" competition...I chose to compete in the 2006 masters Pro, and made the announcement some 14 weeks out from the show...to try and persuade some of the better talent to throw their hat in the ring...who chose to show up, showed up.

Jeeffers would have been compared, if he wasn't so smooth in the prejudging, and was relegated to the 5-8th place comparisons....personall y, I would have had him in the top 5...but I wasn't judging.

From what I've read you just became eligible to compete in Master's competitions. I don't know if this is true but I'm assuming it is.

If it is true why did you decide to compete in such competitions so soon? Many top level guys that are older than you didn't compete in the show. This can be interpreted in a number of way but certainly one of those interpretations involves the show being too small and weak to participate in.

Why did you compete in a show that featured so much weaker competition than a non Masters show?

Yeah probably , but at least my central character ie. ME doesn't change ID in the middle of the story .
