My second statement is this: If you can't see that Musmo has no symmetry, then find another 'sport' to follow. His quads are too big for his calves, and he has some serious "after show" repercussions as far as trips to the hospital for dehydration that he has to contend with.

He's got freaky quads and some freaky mass in other areas, but that doesn't, nor should it, make a bodybuilder of choice.

No disrespect to Chick, but although he can comment on physiques of others as anybody can, being an athlete rep, it makes for shaky ground. Not to say Chick can affect anything as he doesn't compete anymore (biased placings, for instance).

As long as pro's don't openly insult other pro's with their comments, I don't see the foul. Why shouldn't Chick or anybody else be able to comment on Musmo's physique? That's the name of the game. Now, if he stepped over the line and personally slammed the man, then that's chump-style. But these are all opinions.

Personally I like MMs build better,but Chic is a pro bodybuilder and I wonder how many guys ripping him are in that same league?

I have nothing but love for bob chick. he does occasionally back himself into a corner verbally, and there are moments when his role as athlete's rep conflicts with his desire to have media exposure. Truth is, in an ideal world, the athlete's rep would be the quiet, neutral type who spoke rarely, but when he did, everyone listened. But this is a fringe sport where roles often overlap. And as far as the occasional meltdown, even the best of us have those now and again

Dan and I also did an exit poll of the fans, it was an EASY 50/50 split...and the MAJORITY of pro's I interviewed had Dave in 1st.
I don't have a side to pick...I'm friends with both equally. I'm just reporting what I see.

I think that Bob and Mustafa are both very good Bodybuilders. I believe a hand full of pro bodybuilders act like crabs in a bucket. They spend more energy pulling each other down than helping the sport.
My wife is doing her first contest in April and she received a good luck card from another female bodybuilder. Now that is class, she didn't write a note trashing her weak points. But than again my wife is 42 and the other lady is 40 something too.
As a fan I'm bored to tears listening to grown men act like High School jocks. Come on boys grow-up already. When Texas Holden gets more TV time than bodybuilding there is a problem with our sport.
No one is perfect so get over it! Leave the judging to the judges or even the fan as they buy the tickets and buy the mags, but when pros start this game it looks cheap. I would love to see the IBBF pro develop a code of professionism.

what I think is funny how bodybuilders, who commentate on bodybuilding shows, always bring themselves into the commentary. Like who really cares about the annoucer? Maybe--and just maybe--if your Arnold or Dorain Yates that might work.

It was funny how Chic talked about the BB who was using "his" music.

1. The people in the audience don't care about the music choice selection.

2. They don't know who used what in the past.

3. They certain don't care what the announcer used back in some contest a few years ago.

But seriously though, put yourself in Bob's seat. Are you just gonna sit there not saying a word or are you gonna say whatever comes to your mind, thus commentating?

Yeah...that's my point. Most bodybuilders think they are the center of the universe. When watching a BB show, they are thinking about themselves like THEY are a part of the show and that we care about them.

I WAS part of the show, fool....I was providing commentary. lending a few personal experiences, or knowing some of the athletes better than the people watching, are all part of the reason why whoever is doing the commentary, IS DOING THE COMMENTARY.
