San Andreas
« on: June 03, 2015, 08:57:47 AM »
Was totally bored yesterday, so I went to an early show.

Just another CGI shitfest.  The Rock survives about ten 9.0 earthquakes, huge buildings falling down all around him, a helicopter crash, a huge tsunami and drowning.  I don't think he even cut himself.  The only thing good about the movie was the pretty daughter... sizable knockers in tight wet clothing, no nips were visible though.  :(

Anabolic, I hate these kind of CGI flicks most of the time, but I thought that the earthquake scenes and the tsunami scene were done pretty damn well.

Especially that scene in which the ship destroys the GG Bridge.

The worst part of the whole damn movie was the 'love triangle' which messed it up a bit for me.

The most interesting  part is that that disaster is an event that is definitely gonna happen.  It's already too many years late.

Did the old man and his wife ever get reimbursed for the airplane that the Rock dumped into San Francisco Bay? That might be covered in SA 2.

I've worked on a couple of CGI movies and it really is amazing what those guys up in that dark booth can do with the footage while we simply act stupid and run around in front of a  big green screen... or was it 'blue'?

If you're a movie fan, you might be interested that there has been a lot of big talk within the industry about "CRIMSOM PEAK" which is expected to be a major motion picture this year.

And some fans are still talking about Tom Cruise's next film in which he really hangs outside an airplane while it was in flight.

That scene alone will sell lots of tickets.

That one looks good. Love Mia Wasikowska. Great underrated actress.

Cruise has always been big on stunts, he climbed the building in the last one. Crimson peak, hmm just another haunted house movie

It would be interesting to hear what the people who live along the San Andreas faultily think of it.

That line runs from Mexico up though the 'center' of California and enters the Pacific within the vicinity of San Francisco.

You have to love how they stuff in these love storylines when the whole world is imploding they still manage to be selfish cocks and worry about their love stories.

Don't you want your money back?  Your two hours back?  Why would you part with cash to watch this?  The trailer tells you all you need to know; it is a Netflix movie at best.

I did mention I was bored right?  The movie theater is connected to the mall, I was there buying clothes and getting my haircut anyway.

No one is ever that bored.  The movie house must have had half a dozen movies to choose from and you chose this one.  Admit it: you are a fan of The Rock and/or these kinds of movies.  It is OK.  We are not judging you.  ;D

Forget the bitch! Any close ups of the Rock's manly sweaty pecs while shirtless? :-*

I went out of boredom as well. A lady friend of mine phoned me up and asked me to go with her. Yeah why not eh? She even bought my ticket. I thought the effects were going to be on let's say... Transformers level. Was disappointed.

Another stupid thing throughout was that nobody in the world is that resourceful. Whatever the rock needs he finds in 2 seconds, and then knows exactly how to use it like a pro. haha.

the American flag at the end though.... lol 'Murica

Gotta love those big naturals.  Ever notice how all new female actors are required to go topless before they "make it" ?
