Sure, religion didn't exist for the ancient greeks. All they did was invent certain mathematics, science, Architecture etc... Religion came around and destroyed it all. If anything Religion is more conducive to violence than no religion.
that's my takereligion is used to control and programme a certain way of thinkingit leads to intolerance then to violencehumans aren't conditioned to use religion in a productive wayits a giant stick to beat people with either mentally or physically
if religion didn't exist would people blow themselves upwould wars still happenwould we just find another excuse to throw hands
I would love to slowly lower Navy_Mike into boiling water and then throw in a plugged toaster oven for good measure.Anything to wipe that stupid grin/wide mouth off the face of the earth.
If religion didn't exist ,this world would be a mess ,people wouldn't give a fuck , guys like TBombz would be spreading AIDS killing people everywhere ,guys like MOS would be beating people up for no reason , religion is a good thing my friend.
you've converted me my friendim off to church
People would still find plenty of reasons to kill each other as they do now that are not religiously motivated. The essence of religion is the spiritual part which is without a doubt an uplifting influence. The rest can be discarded moving forward.
ireland is a classic example where religion was used to promote violence
Yes but the issue was/is mainly land.
WW1 and WW2 had no religious causes but a combination of nationalism, imperalism and conflict of political ideologie.etcWe're good at finding 1001 reasons to eliminate each other. When this Muslim vs Western world feud ends a new one will emerge, either within or in a new form of foreign adversary.
