Chest.

I stumbled across video of Charles Glass training one of his clients, I tried what he was doing and it worked wonders.

for years I trained exclusively PL. translation = fat. Never did arms at all (save occasional triceps). Past 2 years, focused on becoming less fat and a more balanced routine. Arms have responded nicely. Still fat - but fat with nice arms now  :)

isnt that the only way to tell if a routine or special method works that it actually makes a significant different when applied..
too many videos of people training their best parts... people with 20 inch arms that reached that in in a couple of years and the following 15 years they stayed the same so how the hell is that gonna help anybody...

Deltoids were a weak spot for me but I prioritized them and I'm making some real progress.  They aren't up to the level of my chest yet but they are pretty damn good.

Ever since Joon told me that my triceps suck and his are so much better, I've been putting a huge priority on them and nothing is happening.

The only parts had and success bringing up were parts I trained improperly to begin with, for years I was locked into the "abbreviated training" shit, didn't train arms seriously for years and they lagged badly, only did front press for delts and had shoulders that were all front delt and looked as flat as a japs face from the front.
Other areas refuse to grow no matter what, like upper chest.

Those abbreviated training articles in flex used to be very convincing, glad I was never too convinced...

You mean to say squats don't directly work your arms and that's all you need to do for arm growth?

They were exactly what got me started on that shit, saw a flex article in 99/2000 or so and tried the suggested routine, never realised that the inital slight gain was simply defatiguing from the volume of the "Arnold" style routine I was using and a simple deload week or two would have done the same.
Unfortunately by then was convinced and spent years locked into training in that shitty manner despite probably never gaining anything past the slight initial gain and was walking around with fucking pathetic 14 inch arms

I've made progress on my calves in the last year....enough so that my training partner noticed. Nothing dramatic but progress nonetheless. The biggest difference I think was focusing on the lower part of the movement, stretching the calf as much as possible, then coming back up to slightly past parallel. Before I was starting at parallel and going up, and coming back down to parallel.

I was basically going to say the same thing, as well as using lighter weight, controlling, and with NO bounce. I thought my calfs were genetically tiny, but now they are better than my quads, and even my ankles are thicker. We all know genetices play a big part, but time after time I see guys bouncing big weight, never getting results. I guess it takes a long time for people to get past the ego lifting.

I am convinced (again) that I can have calves!
