In most cases, truth is nothing more than the result of a personal belief.
Definition of the truth:

He tried to find out the truth.

the truth of a statement.

a verified or indisputable fact, proposition, principle, or the like:
mathematical truths.

the state or character of being true.

actuality or actual existence.

So, there isn't any mention about personal belief's. Why? Because truth hasn't anything to do with the beliefs, facts remains to be facts no matter if you believe them or not.
