I worked in a max prison for three years thirty years ago as a Correction Officer. This dream fantasy that prisoners have a code of ethics is beyond not true. Most are just low life criminals and they have no honor, ethics or morale high ground.

Regarding Brazil is full of savage criminals. Decent people of any means have to have high walls around their house to keep them out. My wife went on vacation there as a 21 year old around 1980. The hotel had to have guys holding machine guns on either end of the hotel beach to keep the savages away from the beach preying on the tourists.
