Another Bitcoin mining company pivoting to Ethereum:

BTCT Announces Completion of $1 Million Ethereum Strategic Reserve

BTC Digital (NASDAQ: BTCT) has announced the establishment of a $1 million strategic reserve in Ethereum (ETH), marking its first step toward expanding its presence in Ethereum's on-chain financial infrastructure.

This strategic initiative represents BTCT's evolution from a crypto mining company to an on-chain financial infrastructure participant.

CEO Siguang Peng emphasized that this initial investment positions the company for future opportunities in decentralized finance, stablecoin issuance, and asset tokenization.

The decision is driven by Ethereum's dominant position in stablecoin infrastructure, high transaction volumes, and growing institutional adoption. The company plans to continue increasing its ETH holdings in response to market developments and network upgrades.

Depends if we are in an impulsive market or range bound. Range bound can be on higher time frames so hedging positions can be profitable. Trading is complicated and I am no genius like Bhank, but I make thousands of dollars doing it and it is definitely fun.

The Ethereum Foundation still needs funding and the optics of them selling ETH pissed off a lot of people over the years. Well, here's a new strategy - lol!

https://www.theblock.co/post/362232/sharplink-buys-10000-ether-ethereum-foundation-treasury

SharpLink buys 10,000 ETH directly from Ethereum Foundation, lifting value of treasury to over $558 million

SharpLink snapped up 10,000 ETH from the Ethereum Foundation, increasing its corporate stash to 215,634 coins.
The company started aggressively building its ether treasury in June and plans to be the largest publicly traded holder of ETH.

Nasdaq-listed SharpLink Gaming (SBET) said Friday it has purchased 10,000 ETH from the Ethereum Foundation for $25.7 million, deepening what is the second-largest ether treasury.

The over-the-counter transaction closed on July 10 at $2,572.37 per coin and lifts SharpLink’s holdings to about 215,634 ETH, up from 205,634 ETH previously disclosed. The stack is worth roughly $558 million at current prices, according to DefiLlama data.

Apart from bolstering its corporate ETH treasury, the firm says it’s also supporting the long-term strength and decentralization of DeFi’s largest asset. “SharpLink is acquiring, staking, and restaking ETH as responsible industry stewards, removing supply from circulation and reinforcing the health of the Ethereum ecosystem,” SharpLink Chairman and Ethereum co-founder Joseph Lubin said.

The Minneapolis-based affiliate-marketing and iGaming software firm began pivoting its balance sheet to ether in early June and has financed the buying spree with at-the-market share sales, raising up to $425 million in a private placement led by Lubin’s crypto infrastructure developer Consensys.

As I said Eric Schmidt is an investor. He made sure his contacts at google were involved. So not only were google cloud engineers involved in the tests, but it was independently verified by chainspect.

Mainnet will be out in a couple (with a bunch of fintech partners onboarded) You won't have long to wait to see if I'm kidding myself.
Ok. Good luck. It could do well, anything is possible. Time will tell.

The current circulating supply is around 403.84 million KTA. And the total supply is 1 billion KTA. Any idea what the inflation will be?

2% a month or something similar.

End of cycle/alt season/blow off top is around the corner (some will be saying it's not happening this time and they're gonna be wrong) Position yourself on the best narratives.

Stablecoins Are Spreading Faster Than Any Fintech in History—Thanks to Ethereum

- Stablecoins have surged past $260 billion, enabling over 4 billion people to hold and move USD on-chain without banks, outpacing any traditional fintech rail.

- Ethereum now settles more than $140 billion in stablecoins and $60 billion in DeFi assets, offering global accessibility, institutional-grade security, and censorship resistance.

- A powerful flywheel spins as minted stablecoins bolster DeFi collateral, driving ETH demand and staking, tightening supply, and attracting institutional capital, cementing Ethereum as the new financial backbone.

No real competitor has matched Ethereum’s blend of programmability, decentralization, and developer momentum. Bitcoin lacks smart‐contract functionality, while other smart‐contract platforms struggle to rival Ethereum’s security pedigree. Meanwhile, banks and payment networks remain fragmented by local laws and legacy infrastructure.

As Maria Shen from Electric Capital wisely stated, “Stablecoins are spreading the dollar faster than any financial tech in history. Ethereum is becoming the financial backbone.” With programmable money finally coming of age, Ethereum stands poised to redefine how value moves around the globe.

Scheduled or not, 2% monthly still compounds to ~26.8% yearly. That’s dilution. Calling it ‘just unlocks’ doesn’t magically make it bullish. If demand doesn’t match, holders still bleed. Midcurve cope is pretending dilution doesn’t matter because it’s on a calendar.

New BTC ATH: $123,037.61 per coinranking.com. Nice! Gib, where you at?! lol!

Here's some ETH hopium!

‘100-bagger’ — Ethereum could hit $1.5M over time: EMJ Capital

EMJ Capital founder Eric Jackson says approved Ether staking ETFs could kick off a rally that could see it rise by more than 100-fold and eventually hit $1.5 million per token.

Ether could eventually hit $1.5 million per token, and its next price gain “could catch everyone off guard,” according to EMJ Capital founder Eric Jackson.

“Our analysis suggests the ETH network is underpriced,” Jackson said in a series of X posts on Sunday. “Ethereum is quietly becoming the dominant rail system to transact in crypto with deflationary economics.”

He said that the potential approval of Ether (ETH) exchange-traded funds that feature staking in the US and the use of the blockchain by large financial companies could be catalysts for a “10-bagger plus move is in the cards over the coming years,” meaning its value will increase tenfold.

The US Securities and Exchange Commission allowed the launch of Ether ETFs in July 2024, and analysts speculate that the regulator will approve ETH products that include staking this year.

Ether staking ETF approval not priced in

Jackson said that many wrongly believe ETH has priced in approval of the US ETFs as they’ve “been a big bust” compared to Bitcoin (BTC) ETFs.

To date, US spot Bitcoin ETFs have recorded $6.9 billion in volume, compared to $1.41 billion in volume for their Ether counterparts, according to CoinGlass.

“The real catalyst is still ahead: staking approval, expected before October,” Jackson said.

“Once ETH becomes a productive, staked asset within an ETF wrapper… It’s no longer just ‘digital oil.’ It’s an institutional-grade yield product.”

He added the ETF would compound Ether’s “already deflationary tokenomics” as the cryptocurrency’s circulating supply would be cut with flows from traditional finance and increased staking demand.

SharpLink Gaming (SBET) buying ETH like crazy, they're about to overtake the Ethereum Foundation in holdings.

SharpLink Gaming ETH Holdings Exceed 270,000 After Weekend Buying Spree

SharpLink Gaming has acquired 16,374 ETH worth approximately $48.85 million on Sunday. The Nasdaq-listed company transferred the Ethereum from Galaxy Digital’s over-the-counter trading desk to its wallet, according to blockchain data from Arkham Intelligence.

This purchase follows a $63.7 million Ethereum acquisition on Friday when SharpLink bought 21,487 ETH. The Friday purchase included 10,000 ETH bought directly from the Ethereum Foundation for $25.7 million.

SharpLink’s aggressive buying continued throughout the weekend. On July 12, the company secured 14,693 ETH from Galaxy Digital for $43.89 million and another 6,804 ETH from Coinbase Prime for $20.37 million.

Ethereum ETFs surpass $5 billion in net flows

Ethereum ETFs took 12 trading days to capture over $1 billion in inflows, beating the previous billion mark by three trading sessions.

Bloomberg senior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas noted that ETHA recorded $675 million in weekly net subscriptions, placing it sixth across all US ETFs for the period ending July 11.

The first $3 billion required 216 sessions. By contrast, the jump from $4 billion to $5 billion occurred in just over two weeks of trading, including five consecutive days with total inflows exceeding $200 million.

BTC Market Cap – July 2020: $163 billion
ETH Market Cap – July 2025: $367 billion

Ethereum's current market cap is already 2.25x what Bitcoin’s was five years ago in July 2020 — and ETH is still six years younger than BTC.

Now imagine if ETH’s next all-time high in 2025 or 2026 reached 2.25x Bitcoin’s 2021 peak market cap.
That would put Ethereum’s price well over $20,000.

Germany is nuts for poking the bear. In WW2, around 24 million in the Soviet Union perished, of which the majority were Russian. Belarus and Ukraine also suffered heavy casualties. The Germans will be exterminated this time if they mess with Russia again. Also curious why any German white male would want to defend a nation that has become anti-white and anti-German. Fuck that. Note I have German heritage myself, and zero Russian links.

That stock might go up sure, but it's complete stupidity on the part of Germany. Germany does not have Russia's resources. They need to focus on what they do best and stay away from any war. And stop replacing the German population with third world individuals.

ETH has shown to be a rotational play vs BTC so we need to understand when BTC ends.

If BTC is now catching bids from excess liquidity that would normally be doing the commodity inflationary trade, then you have a problem either timing your rotation.

ETH is gaining traction with ETFs and even showing up on company balance sheets — adding steady demand. BTC may be catching early macro flows, but ETH has always followed with a lag. If it’s still undervalued and now gaining institutional backing, the rotation into ETH looks more like a matter of when, not if.

Good to see you agree with what I said.

The question is the timing (when) and for that, it’s highly likely it is much further out than people expect.

Last BTC selloff of -30% did not see a rotation, it saw a -66% selloff of ETH instead. BTC went on to ATH and ETH is splashing in its own vomit.

There is nothing wrong waiting for 2033 for the rotation.
