Later in his competitive career, Rosbo developed a pinched nerve that caused one side of his body to atrophy slightly, kind of like Chad Nicholls said happened to Jay Cutler, except that in Jay's case it wasn't as apparent as with Gunnar.

Classic, if getting stomped means placing 4th at the NOC, 3 places behind Phil the Thrill's Victory qualifying for the Mr. O my Rookie Year!
Then placing 13th out of 28, one place behind Phil at the 88 Mr.O
Now should we even talk about what happend after that? :-\
One year on the Pro Scene, does not make a Pro Champion. :-*
Shawn: 90-01 Top 5 Mr. O, ASC Champ, Ironman Winner
Phil: 88 NOC Winner- 89-90 Career Done..........after failing to bust a Grape in the 1990 NOC ??? :'(

Shawn, you were the better pro, obviously, but the point can be made that you didn't really "stomp" him until later on when both your careers were said and done.  By the time of the 1988 Olympia you were on a similar level.
