He won the America in 77'. I ran into him once at the Antelope Valley Fair in CA in the early 80's. I think he was manning a supplement booth or something. He was the first pro that I ever met. He was a cool guy.

yeah he was a great bodybuilder very strong for the time used to hang out with powerbuilder dave shaw. an interesting story was when he competed in an early strongest man contest after the day's competition he would go home and train for several hours instead of recovering for the next days events. too bad he died of a strange disease quite a few years ago.

He was one of the 1st Pro I met after John Brown and Mike Christian in 83 at World Gym in Venice Beach, Ca.
He looked similar to my father and I told him if my dad trained he'd look like him.

Real gentleman who died too soon!
