No you didn't, but with no-gi flexiblity and strength are much larger factors than pure skill. I can last a whole lot longer against the good guys at my club no-gi vs gi.

yeah ... ive got a pretty decent single leg now, and my flexibility helps me turn it into at least half guard most of the time ... still, put me againt a wrestler and ill get schooled
