That movie has one of the biggest advertisement campaigns for the last years. It is everywhere.
From what I've seen in trailers the movie itself looks cheap, with strenous jokes and idiotic scenes.
I predict huge opening and then it will fail.

Cameron said he considers this one the legit third of the series.

He could say anythig while the money involved.

The last good movie he made was Terminator 2. 24 years without making a decent film, Cameron should just pack it in.

Ps. The south park nailing of him is fucking brilliant.

Terminator 1 and 2 came out at the perfect time, nothing like it had been made during that time and everything about them was new and kinda mysterious - T2 just had the perfect mix of nostalgia from the bad to the bone image, double-barrel sawn off shotgun and chopper with the rising tech wave at the time from the skynet story itself as well as the little subtle things like computer chips and even the opening bits with the kid using that ATM hacking notebook.

i remember watching terminator 2 about 5 or 6 years after it was released as a little kid being inrigued as fuck by that stuff, hadn't seen anything like it before at the time - Alien, Terminator 2, Jurassic Park all that was new and unseen at the time.

all this shit now has been done to death, nothing new or unique about it. been rehashed and regurgitated to friggin death!

just looks like another poor attempt to reignite something nostalgic so they can make money off people silly enough to think this will evoke the same feelings from the first two releases all them decades ago - ain't happening.

Arnie just clinging off to dear life to any form of relevance in this world. he came on a UK talk show last night and it was brutal to watch, host indirectly taking the piss out of him and Arnie sounding senile and generic as hell.
should just call it a day and not degrade his legendary image if he hasn't already.

when nothing new can be invented it s called the end of a civilization. Then it generally completely collapses and a new one replaces it.

Just gonna go see it, good or bad it's Arnold. He was right when he said he'll be back.
Getbig wouldn't exist today if there had been no Arnold Schwarzenegger. We all owe him.

Of course, doesn't look like he's involved, though. I don't know, just had zero interest until he said that. Loved first two, but then he checked out.
