MORON !!! The boat wouldn't disappear over the horizon if the Earth was flat. And yes, shorter objects will disappear sooner than larger ones when approaching the horizon..

The earth is not perfectly round and gravitational pull also bends light, that has to account for some level of discrepancy.

But if you stand up and use binoculars you have to account for that too. Your eyes are not down at water level when using binoculars most of the time, unless you are submerged and spying like a submarine.

Yeah, gravity bends light! Maybe light passing close to a star but here on Earth? Give me a break! You wouldn't notice any difference. What a bunch of tools who make those videos for the knuckleheads out there.
