What impresses me the most about Ronnie is that he continually gives the judges what they want - whatever that may be.

He would win the Olympia if he came in during the dead offseason missing a leg.  It is merely a formality that he show up to win.  That having been said, you have to admire the big man for putting for the effort to consistently show up in condition.

Damn ND, you are correct.  Look at those shitty arms.  No vascularity or shape.  Hell, the triceps and forearms are truly awful.  How the hell can he win the Mr. Olympia when dudes like Badell are around.  ::)

His triceps actually don't look very impressive there at all.  The biceps look amazing in the other pictures though.

I can picture it backstage ... "Hey Ronnie, after we give you the nod, put on this crown and cape and prance around like a king on steroids in his underwear, an hold the Septor like it has magic in it....."  Ronnie replys .... " Everywun wanna be da champ but aint no one wanna put on no heavy capes"

Hey hulkster, do you have that picture from the day before the Olympia with Ronnie holding that kid?  His arms were shredded beyond belief in that pic.

IMHO that was the best part of the video. Seeing him try to train at gym that he is not familiar with was painfull.

I loved his comment about almost hitting the guy interviewing him and Badell after he lost the challenge round.
Here comes the money shot

I think he was around 290 in this DVD - same as King in his DVD, but the conditioning was night and day.  Being 290 with abs does not mean much when compared to Ronnie at 290.  Keep in mind this big man competed at 303 at the 2004 Grand Prix in Holland!

For poundages, check the review here:

http://www.bodybuildingpro.com/ronniecolemanontheroaddvd.html

I've listed them all in it.

The quality of this DVD is better than ever.  Ronnie is not lifting quite as heavy as he had been but he was also just a few days beyond the Olympia at the time of filming.

I'm looking for this picture too.  It was probably the best picture I've ever seen of his arms and it was obvious he was the winner.

 Great review!
