Agreed, I have reflected upon this for a long time.

They have streamlined all cars into looking the same. Very boring.

Only the concept cars look interesting then the finished product looks the same as any new car.

All cars today tend to have the same design theme---but designers have to work around today's safety parameters as well. Which is why the high beltlines, the hoods, and rears, etc.
also, if you look in the past---almost all the cars of each respective decade tended to look the same. And in Europe from the 50s-60s, even until the early 70s, almost all the cars had those "bug eyes" headlights.

Yes but even so..

Look at Volvo, Saab and a beetle for example. They looked very distinguishable in the 70 and 80's.

I don't think they will put a V6 in a Ferrari in the near future. However, I will predict that the Giulia will be a hit for Alfa Romeo.
