Agreed, I have reflected upon this for a long time.
They have streamlined all cars into looking the same. Very boring.
Only the concept cars look interesting then the finished product looks the same as any new car.
If in doubt, just look at all the pics posted in this threads, case in point.
All cars today tend to have the same design theme---but designers have to work around today's safety parameters as well. Which is why the high beltlines, the hoods, and rears, etc.
also, if you look in the past---almost all the cars of each respective decade tended to look the same. And in Europe from the 50s-60s, even until the early 70s, almost all the cars had those "bug eyes" headlights.
