You should have to fight every 4 months.  If your injuries keep you out any longer than that or you refuse to fight the title should be stripped.  I'm tired of watching title fights once every 18 months.  This crap is ridiculous.  There's enough fighters out there to keep the sport fresh.

A lot of bullshit about this, first it was said berinho injured him, then barao, now it's some nobody. It was reported also left the gym in tears barely able to breathe, then it was said he trained on after the knock. Dana White has put millions into publicing this fight so unless the ccunt is badly injured this fight will go ahead. If not I see nate diaz or bermudez getting the fight, NO WAY the ufc risks conor vs edgar or even mendes

it's just a rumor to keep people fired up for the match. They did the same with mayweather vs pacquiao, first the fight was scheduled and then it wasn't, then it was scheduled again.
