we ve seen earth invasion by aliens in Signs, war of the worlds (alien design was a complete rip off of those found in ID btw), and others films i dont even remember. Pretty tough to be original with that one.

I loved the first one...probably cause i was young at the time. Just like jurrassic park, it was just tons of fun at the time, first realistic description of a global scale alien invasion, with SFX that were believable.

It wont happen. We will probably destroy ourselves before. Either that, or we will become the aliens, probably trying to survive underground after the earth surface is ravaged by either a natural or man made cataclysm.

I wish they wouldnt release any pics, infos, and trailers that spoil it before even watching it in theater.

One of these movies should end with the aliens winning and completely getting rid of the human species on earth, that would be a change for once.

As our lifespan has increased, and our technology has allowed us to do almost everything without getting up, and we have an over abundance of food options, we've become fatter and less active.
Unless this trend is interrupted, we will become rotund balls of fat.
Alternatively, yes...a large head and small limbs, and asexual features would possibly be what we would look like after thousands or millions of years of evolution and adaptation.

Jurassic World - 13 days - One Billion Dollars.

It always surprises me that the guys and gals who do the computer work (FX Animators, i think they are called now) on these major block busters don't get as much credit as the principal performers.

I've been on a few of these  sets in which the success of the film depended on computerized special effects and you seldom see the guys or gals who work in some dark room out of sight  while the actors or stunt people or motion capture artists perform under bright lights before the camera.

Actually it's a huge number of cameras in most cases that photograph the 'actors' from every conceivable angle while the computer 'brains' in those dark rooms make it 'somethng that you've never seen before".

The success of this new INDEPENDeNCE DAY will be due to the efforts of thses computer 'freaks' who will do their best to mae our eyeballs 'pop out".

I'm pretty easy to satisfy and am still mostly impressed by the opening scene of STAR WARS when that space ship passed over the heads of everyone in that theater.

And that one was relatively easy.

It will be interesting to see if I see something I've never seen before  in this forthcoming production Independence production.

ANd I think that will be the result of these new FX 'kids'.

Or maybe not at all.
