60 Seconds with Flex | Twisting Lat Pull Down

That is probably the stupidest thing I have ever seen
If you twist your spine like that when you have a weight stretching your torso it extends and separates your discs in your spine, a perfect way to get a trapped nerve.

Idiotic.

On the business side of the game, the higher priced tickets ($600+ to 700+) for Friday or Saturday evenings at the Orleans Arena are sold out.

And the cheapest seat in the house according to the Orleans is around $72 plus 'appropriate fees'.

The competitive side of professional bodybuilding may be changing but it sure ain't dead.

Not yet anyway!

Many and various individuals honestly believe that Physique competitions are the wave of the future, but the validity of that belief has yet to surface and probably will not come into play until large cash awards are awarded to the Physique winners.

Physique competitors may be riding on the coat-tails of the bodybuilders at present but a  change could be possible within the next few years.

But even if Physique competitions grow beyond anyone's expectations, the IFBB bodybuilding will always  draw a crowd ... and it is far from 'DEAD'.

Interesting to note but family members attended a major Bodybuilding expo in Germany recently and said that the longest lines in the place were for two individuals..... Jeff Seid had a long line and Sergi Constance's line was even longer.

Both are well known physique contenders throughout Europe and among physique fans in the US.

Sergi just might be doing well as an IFBB Physique pro in the not too distant future and will definitely be an asset within the IFBB.

Last thought ,.... It will be interesting to see if there are any "gut problems' in this year's Oly lineup.

I can see the women's physique division getting to the point where it's on the main stage and has a buzz but men and women's bikini belongs in the expo hall. Nobody is flying out to Vegas for those events. Bikini is a nice distraction I guess but doesn't belong on the main stage. Neither does the men's division

People fly out there for men's bodybuilding. Period. Folks go for the finals of the men's open and that's about it. That won't change anytime soon.

No predictions on the order, but the winner will definitely be that guy who looks worse than every pro before '94.

Not when someone like McMillan, Roden or Wolf with good conditioning wins

Something is a foot, though.  Sponsorships are all but extinct, magazines are dead, websites are evaporating, social media is soaring, what gives?  The change is unprecedented in like...hell, ever.  Sure mens open pro contest tickets my sell today, but the tide is turning.  I can't put my finger on it just yet.  What say you?

I predict a majority of competitors will show up with: bald heads, questionable conditioning, distended midsections, poor calves, weird proportions, no symmetry, a dedicated schmoe fan base, outlandish routines, thongs that will affect your eyesight.

touche!
