Welcome to hetero-hell.
Men will especially suffer no matter if they are the "top" or "bottom" in the relationship although I suspect that regardless of gender the more "masculine" of the two involved will be fucked in court.
And not in the good way, either.
I have known more than a few homosexuals, both men and women, and can honestly state that gay men are fooking bunny rabbits and being faithful to one partner will likely be very difficult for them. Lesbians on the other hand, while in general are more faithful to one another are also far, far more "jealous". To paraphrase a line from early Star Trek...That's the trouble with tribbing.
We all know what jealously does to a relationship, don't we? Hell hath no scorn like a bull dyke that thinks her fem has bumped bush with another. "Thinks". No proof is needed because jealously feeds off "thoughts". A better man than I once said that you can be the sun in someone's sky but if you "think" they're up all night staring at the moon? And then there's the stars to think about too. A lesbian is a jealous creature. Again, jealousy destroys relationships.
As previously stated - Welcome to hetero-hell. When you divorce, and a great many homosexuals both male and female will divorce, I wish you all the pain and suffering that heterosexual couples have endured for years. Equality isn't a bed of roses. But there's plenty of thorns.
Be well.
