http://www.quora.com/On-average-are-gay-marriages-or-straight-marriages-more-likely-to-end-in-divorce

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/frederick-hertz/divorce-marriage-rates-fo_b_1085024.html

http://www.marketwatch.com/story/do-gay-marriages-have-a-lower-rate-of-divorce-2014-12-16

now the people marrying first when marriage becomes legal are the ones who have already been together 10, 20, 30...54 years

and this whole idea about cheating, monogamy seems to be very important to lesbians, not so much for gay men.  while many of my friends are completely monogamous, many others are only monogamish.  Cheating is breaking the rules you've both agreed to.  So agree to rules you both can live by.

Like I said and you pretty much avoided, welcome to hetero-hell.  I would say that for the greater part this entire marriage rights thing is just about wanting to make people accept you for what you are. As I stated, a couple of dudes I  know are getting divorced and will soon know the joys of having their assets (vs their asses) raped big time in the courts.   One fellow I knew years ago went the gay way because he said he could get sex anywhere, anytime without having to wine and dine anyone.  I guess truck stop bathrooms are very romantic...Sheesh.

"Monogamish" = Bunny Rabbits.  How apropos that someone here that once talked of the joys of being boo-foo'd wore a bunny costume.  This is why AIDS nailed so many homosexual males.  They were nailing each other with reckless, no...feckless abandon.   Morons.  Justify behavior via rationalization.  I don't think God sent AIDS, I think a great many homosexuals were just asking for it with their behavior.  So-called "bisexual" men then transferred it to women who then gave it to heterosexual men so don't go there.  Or do.

Welcome to anything goes so long as it suits an agenda.   I don't give a fook if you want to get "married" and I will laugh when you want to get divorced.   Hell must be painted in rainbow colors.  How sweet.

I really question your gay friends.  who could find that a disgrace?  How is it any different than any of the other celebrations that go on on the white house lawn?

Because not all gay people are liberal Tim. Most of my gay friends are conservative. But even the ones that are not respect other that dont agree and they sure as hell find it annoying that the media and alike push it on others.

Same here.  My homosexual friends in the late 70s and early 80s were were not sissy nellies.  They were conservatives that found "pride parades" more than a bit of a disgrace.  They never hit on me as they knew we were friends and I am straight.  Never did they think it imperative that everyone know they were gay.  I've already mentioned that I didn't know of one guy was homosexual until I went to  his place and he introduced me to his boyfriend.  Both nice guys. Both conservative.  Both Republicans.  Both men that just happened to prefer men over women.

When asked about gay guys calling drag queens "girls" and saying how hot they were, to a man they all said it was odder than a three legged duck.  None of them, especially one that was an attorney, thought it was imperative to lower the age of consent.  They found it societally unconscionable.

Contrast them with the flamers.   This is where I learned that pretty much nobody likes a nellie.

I don't know if Coach or others here will agree with me but I say that being conservative isn't a choice.  I was born this way.  I knew it in the womb.

Deal with it, libtards.   ;D

by the way, here are some pics from last night from around the world

NYC

Berlin

NYC

Niagra Falls

Disneyland

Puerto Rico

St Louis

Quite obvious that everyone in government already knew what the ruling would be and they set the lighting up way in advance.  You vote doesn't count, it never did.  All newer US laws have been de-facto.  US is a banana republic.

When I first saw that pic of the guys kissing in front of a lit up Whitehouse, I laughed thinking it was a Photoshop.  I now realize it's real.  I'm in Canada, and nobody there that I'm aware of is doing this nonsense.  At least not here in Calgary where I reside.

Don't be stupid.

I don't dislike you, I despise "stupid".  You are capable of rational thought, are you not?  Of course you are!  Don't be stooooopid.  As I said elsewhere, just because someone dates someone from another "race" (and I believe that would be you as you have said before your girlfriend is caucasional) does not make them incapable of being a pompous racist.

Try being proud of being a human being.  If you're so proud of being black (as Wiggs so often asserts in his treatises on the black bigfoot, aka, the Hebrow, then sever your ties to whitey completely.  Like Wiggs if you are so damnably proud of your skin color then by sound reasoning you should only go coo coo for cocoa muffs.

Or just be a man.  Not a black man.  Not a white man.  Or a yellow, red or brown one for that matter.  Eschew that which makes you small and pursue better.   I recommend you view the film, "Something New".  It's a romantic comedy so if watching it with your girlfriend makes you feel better, then do so.  ;D

Be well, young man.

Oh brother, thanks Dr. Phil ::)

please provide some examples of Christians being sued.  The couple of bakers and florists that have been sued have been in states where sexual orientation is one of the protected classes in a civil rights ordinance. Religion is also a protected class. How would you feel about a Catholic florist saying I don't provide for Jewish (or Mormon or Muslim) weddings?  Or a baker saying I don't do black weddings?

Businesses are not people, businesses don't have souls, so businesses can't have religious beliefs.  You incorporate into a business to protect the owners from business liability.  In exchange the business has to follow the laws of the state.

1) can't use government funds to proselytize
2) don't claim your multi-billion dollar business is a church, or don't mix your non-profit church activities with your for profit business activities.
3) someone made a complaint, the judge dismissed it
4) see previous post. incorporated businesses don't have souls and can't have religious beliefs.  Businesses cannot violate anti-discrimination rules, period.
5) not quite what it seems: http://thinkprogress.org/lgbt/2013/08/21/2501581/air-force-marriage-reassignment/
6) permits are required for certain types of events in national parks. you're not exempt just because you're a church.
7) whether the professor was out of line, no one was punished or threatened with punishment for objecting http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/06/24/deandre-poole-fau-stomp-on-jesus_n_3490263.html

Do you ever read more than the headlines of the articles that seem to shape your world view?  Do you ever read them with a critical eye?

well, actually this weekend is the 46th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, the beginning of the modern gay rights movement.  while different cities have their Gay Pride events at different times of the year, many have it this weekend.

Would you be equally motivated to protest Muslim bakers who won't bake the wedding cake?
