We attended the San Jose BB Championships today. Saw a few old friends. (L-R) Shawn Ray, Mike Christian, Lee Haney, tommywishbone, Rich Gaspari, Chris Cormier. Others that were there but not in the pic- Flex Wheeler, Ed Corney, Skip LaCour.

Thanks cats. Appreciate the nice words.

All the boys were in good spirits. Christian has been training and has some solid muscle these days. Gaspari always looks good. Lee, Shawn and Chris are happy and doing their thing. Haney is still a real gentleman- easy going, good dude.

Why can't Gaspari get some pants that fit? Looks like he stole those off a guy a foot taller. And is Cormier wearing a electronic monitoring ankle bracelet?

Thanks Wes. Appreciate that. I told the entire group my/our Lee Haney, me and the Iron Sheik story that happened in 1990 and the gang was laughing so hard. Lots of bodybuilding history in that silly picture.

LaCour was a good guy. Engaging. Talked to my friend about bodybuilding vs Physique, diet, etc. Never mentioned "natural" vs drugs. Pretty mellow guy. He was in shape. Tight. Probably 190-ish.

Would have enjoyed having dinner with the boys. They all were intending to stay another night,I believe for the seminar. Didn't care to intrude. I'm their friend but I'm not one of them. I'll talk the talk- they'll walk the walk.

Each one of them deferred to Lee Haney.They really acknowledged Lee as their leader.
