But she has an actual disease/disorder (Lipedema). This is not just someone who is big because she enjoys eating.

Lipedema or lipoedema is a chronic disorder of adipose tissue generally affecting the legs, which causes the legs and sometimes the arms to accumulate fatty tissue.[1] It is distinguishable by six characteristics:

Lipedema Treatments

Unfortunately, dieting and exercising will not reduce the fat involved in lipedema. A weight loss diet and exercise may leave you thinner on the top but not change fat on the lower affected half.

This. I was prepared to slam her getbig style but just by looking at her tiny hands and water swolen forearms you can tell she's not just fat but has a medical condition.  Not sure but I think a woman I work with has that too.  :-X

Now if she were just a fatty making those excuses then I would simply say stop eating so much, problem solved.

Regardless just carrying a little creatine bloat and should be able to take a diuretic and be dry by the evening show.

So, if she were one of the one liberated from a concentration camp at the end of WWII, she would still be fat?

I was thinking the same thing. I don't know but I assume she would be a lot smaller but still have some of that water bloat that is apparent.

Yes, one of the 0.00001% of obese in the US that actually has a condition to explain it.

The rest are fucking fatasses. She gets a pass.

Pretty much. The role of genetics/hereditary, which often lead to diseases or disorders, have been overexaggerated.

Harvard School of Public Health

Genes Are Not Destiny

Heredity plays a role in obesity but generally to a much lesser degree than many people might believe.Rather than being obesity’s sole cause, genes seem to increase the risk of weight gain and interact with other risk factors in the environment, such as unhealthy diets and inactive lifestyles. And healthy lifestyles can counteract these genetic effects.
