Just a preference thing. Have always had Mercs and the occasional 5 series. A4 felt like a downgrade and was roughly the same price so won't touch them again.

Mate of mine has just ordered the new A5 and for what he's paying for it I told him he could get an M3 ffs!

Not a fan of Audi's had an A6 as a company car, very uncomfortable long haul even though it's a big exec/family car...stiff suspension and rigid seating layout in comparison to mercs and bmw.

I keep thinking that if I want to get another performance car, the M4 looks nice.

For the most part, though, the winters around here are terrible on cars and I should only look at something like that as a 3 season car. I need a bigger garage.

Love the S4 and Audi's in general. Don't know why, I just do... Never bought a new one to and probably never will, they lose value very fast. I just bought a 2014 S4 with 10 k miles for 35K here in Canuckistan  ;D

The AWD is pretty much mandatory and it makes a perfect winter car. Perfect sleeper car too!

I'm not a true getbigger choosing between his Aston Martin or Bugatti every morning but Audi's perfect for my taste and means...

M4 AND 4 SERIES ARE SHARP LOOKING,WHICH BMW NEEDED CAUSE THE A5 HAD BETTER LOOK THEN PAST 3 SERIES/COUPE MODEL BY FAR...

I love my audi, round here wannabe drug dealers and immigrants drive bmws so that put me off.  I'd drive a merc but its well known they don't drive as well as an audi.

I drove an Audi S6 V10 for 3 years.  I put 50,000 miles on the car.  excellent daily driver and road trip car.  maybe too stiff for some people in the compliance department, but a more solid car than any 5 series BMW. 

The M4 would be my only consideration from BMW at this time.

i owned an audi a4 turbo, shit was breaking own every 3 months, sold that shit right out of the shop the 3rd time around , owned it 9 months total

Z4 3.0 litre 2003
M3 2006
1982 325i
1997 328is
2001 325
2008 135i convertible.

So yes, i do like BMW's
