It's likely the angle of the shot, but what an odd looking body. The neck length in relation to everything else is crazy.

Funk is a quality poster.

I've often wondered what many of these photos would look like in color.
And, while it's wonderful to see them in this alternate condition, I find that I prefer the B&W versions of most.

I don't know if it's simply that I'm used to seeing them that way, or do they "lose something" when altered?

i agree they do lose something in their transformation into color and the quality of the coloration depends on the original b and w pic.

agreed at the time the below pic was labelled as the greatest exercise photo ever..color won't have had the same impact..esp considering the year..

And I thought it was just Me
either being nostalgic or the rose tinted glasses effect
Much prefer them in their original Black & White
Though its great to see them in colour

Maybe posting the original & the colour one side by side
for comparison.
