The flag on the moon is 125cm (4 feet) long. You would require a telescope around 200 meters in diameter to see it. The largest telescope now is the Keck Telescope in Hawaii at 10 meters in diameter.

Zoom in on Phil Heath from the side and you won't see him with a 200m telescope....

most telescopic work is done in radio frequencies also.

another reason is that its not necessary to show things like this when you know they are there.

if NASA really were concerned about trying to keep up a lie of being on the moon, then you'd think that they'd be posting pics of the flag and so on...

but they dont. if it was a conspiracy, then you'd think that they'd really be providing this.

so why dont they do it?

the answer is : they know its there, they put it there, they have video and all the proof already... if u still dont believe it, they arent going to spend a cent on trying to convince you, because you really arent anybody.

theyve got better things to spend their dollars on.

yay this is a cute thread i can flame people and they flame back at the end of the day we still must trust the "experts" even though they cant make a telescope good enough for the moon even though they can sattelight image us on earth. or is it really sattelight image and not simply just those drive through cameras they use when search yahoo maps driving directions

You do realise those satellites are about 50 miles up? The moon isn't 50 miles away.

I've always wondered why, if the Hubble telescope is that powerful, why they haven't proved once & for all that we've been to the moon.  Thats because we've never been.
