Gaspari is not out hero physique-wise. But he's a hero for his work ethics and his love for BB....

Too bas Gaspari doesn't get any recognition. He's the proverbial getbigger: lousy genetics, but hard work,

He was pretty cool at his peak - he had that "American Attitude" that the 80ies and early 90ies were ripe with.
Will always remember the music and his posing.

I seem to think it was Gaspari's brother.

No idea - initially I thought it was a song by Ozzy Osbourne, but it's way too simple to come from the Oz machinery.
In the comments one dude says it's from "Michael Gaspari" and no official record exists.

Since Columbo's retired, I think we have to make do with this youtube clip.

Indeed - Destiny by his brother Mike, it sounds a bit like Europe's Final Countdown, Bon Jovi, and late 80's Ozzy in some parts.

Gaspari was the originator of the ultra hard, ripped vascular look. At the time, there was no one like this. He did a photo shoot, in this condition,  for M&F which totally rocked the bbing world.

For a time, the epicenter of the bodybuilding world moved from Venice to Maplewood New Jersey.
