Honest no trolling question. How would he react onstage and on social media in the months after if he lost the Mr. O....To Kai.
He'd at least come back for sure. I think he'd certainly be humbled.  As far as onstage I couldn't fathom. All I know is it wouldn't be pretty for the first couple of hours.

I can't stand Phil but he'd put on a good show.

Could you imagine him at his afterparty?  Oh boy.  I'd even go just to see that.

It would be epic I could see him having a huge meltdown.

The haters would go nuts and "break the internet". The crowd would go nuts for Kai. I'm not sure Phil would recover.

remember when Jay lost to phil at the 2011 Olympia- and he upstaged Phil with that long-ass speech, took all the wind out of his sails?

I pictured it'd be like that.  Not about Ramy or Rhoden or Kai's big moment.  Rather, "I've had so much on my plate, so many new opportunities, so much growth this year in so many areas, but the haters won't stop me, I will prevail and prove, persevere, blah blah blah..."

After about 6 awkward minutes, finally they'd give the mic to the actual winner.

You better hope you're on the guestlist because you won't be able to afford the $50 entry

You have a short memory. A few years ago, when he was all hyped for Mr. O and appeared small and bloated on stage, holding more water than an Olympic pool, he pulled the good ol' stomach flu bs excuse out of his ass. If he doesn't win the contest this year, we probably will endure a variation of this bs story, like "not bad for someone who torn his quad, buried his mom and got a cancer 2 days ago".

Remember the joke 'The fridge, the torn biceps and the synthol"? Ready to deal with "The nostrils, the gastroenteritis and the diuretics"?

Phil looked better than Jay in 2010. Are you talking about 2009?

yeah 2009.

From wiki:

Quote
He was a favorite for the 2009 Mr. Olympia title,[citation needed] but a stomach virus caused him to arrive 6 lbs lighter than planned on the first day, and this resulted in his taking fifth place in the competition.

If he loses he would show a face like he hasn't take a shit in 3 days for a minute or so. In the backstage he would cry like the narrow bitch he is.
But he isn't going to lose. Big Ramy will come in top notch shape but the judges will not favor him. Judges will follow the money and Phil will win again. The crowd will riot on their decision without success. Kai will be third or 4th. Just another stabb in the pro bodybuilding circus and it's clowns.

Mark my words.

I imagine he would take his mind off the loss by going to get some new Louis Vuitton gear and maybe a manicure.

On stage, he'd be slightly weepy, but he'd be humble, and let the winner have his moment. Backstage it would be worse, I can see him just leaving with no press. The real drama will happen the next day when it finally settles in. I see lots of multi-paragraph missives on why he was the best, etc....

Also if Phil knew any backstage secrets about the winner, he'd drop them. I can see him being the type to make a gimmick account on message boards to whine and rundown the winner.
