I agree with this completely.
I see alot of parallels between Brother Hovind and The Apostle Paul.
It was ultimately an intervention from a roman tribune which kept Paul from being killed by a mob after being accused of blasphemy.
He was then arrested and shipped towards Rome and it was during the next 5 years of imprisonment by the jewish high court that Paul did some of his most productive work.
I haven't followed Brother's Hovind's work recently but I am sure he comforted alot of souls in jail by reading out of The Prison Epistles: Ephesians, Phillipians, Colossians and Philemon to the prisoners incarcerated with him.
Using his vast knowledge of the bible he would be able to personalize Paul's message to every single inmate there just as Paul himself did almost 2,000 years ago!
