I'm assuming that the muscular atrophy he is experiencing throughout his left/right upper extremities is a direct result of the deterioration of discs experienced throughout his cervical spine by way of the various nerves that innervate both his arms.

Scary what can happen after beating your body up for decades..

Your endocrine system does not like being F'ed w/ for years & Ron's rapidly degrading appearance is proof!  Dead in less than 10yrs.

Jesus he's fifty and still has a lot of muscle. Thing that is really messing him up is his waist but so what. Let him do his thing. Age gets everyone.

Albert Beckles at 54, 55, and 61.

The balloon is deflating.  There's still a chance for it to pop, though.

Is this also the reason his pecs look so deflated. -Not much different than mine, but then I am much older than he is and I was never as big as he was.

I have no idea but I would say he's got scar tissue everywhere from injecting everywhere for years.  Like the typical addict he probably shoots between his fingers and toes.   He did it to himself.

It could be that he was speaking metaphorically and using a very early colloquial spelling of "bright", as in not too "brite", i.e., intelligent, glowing with smartses.  You know..."He's so bright/brite his mother calls him "son"?  That sorta stuff.  I have no real problem with it but can understand why others might.   ;D

He looks much better than a lot of folks in their 50's and worse then some. Aging is a bitch. There is no escaping it. Hopefully, he's working on getting lean. Your heart doesn't know the difference between muscle weight and fat, the extra pounds are still a strain on it. It best to lean down while you skin is still pliable otherwise you could end up looking like a deflated balloon.

brite

A variant of bright (adj.). It figures in English phonetic spelling reform from at least the late 19c.; as an advertiser's word it dates from at least 1905 (" Star-brite Metal Polish," made by the Star-Brite Company of Lancaster, Pa., U.S.).

I mentioned this in another thread and agree its best to stay leaner as you get older. I'm in my 50's and feel better leaner and still look full.

Ronnie was enormous for a long time so I would expect him to have some laxity to his skin. Dave Palumbo's arms seem to have that same stretched look

Not that I could ever compare myself to Ronnie, but I decided to get lean awhile back. Clearly, my time has passed a long time ago with regards to being a stage worthy contestant. I hope I didn't wait too long. My skin looks slightly loose to me in some areas, especially my abs. This is normal for men or worse for women of my age. I like to believe that a lifelong dedication to being fit and healthy can still pay off. There is no way I can keep up with someone in their prime years. I gave that up quite awhile back.

I still looked pretty decent when I was in my 50's. Each decade takes it toll though.

Seems like a lot of folks want Coleman to look like he did when he was much younger. If once is realistic, they'd realize this is not possible. You can only hope to look your best for your age and whatever card genetics dealt you. Anything else is futile.

Albert Beckles at 54, 55, and 61.

Beckles age was a source of wide debate and speculation. It came to light that he lied about his age he was younger
