Lol, Mir is my favorite fighter, but he got lucky. He did the exact thing he shouldn't have: go toe to toe with a one trick pony. Mir stalked Duffee with his hands down, and Duffee was able to get off first with that stiff right jab. It easily could have been Mir hitting the canvas if Todd had connected with that follow up left hand.
Mir has been working with a boxing coach for a while now, so I guess he feels more and more confident with his improved standup. Frank has never been in ripped condition before, but he looked extra out of shape for this fight. I told you guys that I thought Mir had one last title run in him (probably just wishful thinking from a fan) but now he is going to get someone ranked higher than him (Mir was ranked 10th) Maybe a Travis Browne or Arlovski matchup would be a possibility.
One thing is for certain, whomever he faces next will be a step up from Todd Duffee

Mir needs to get his head out of the clouds if he thinks he is suddenly Mike Tyson
