I believe that is what happened with Kenpo Machine. They were merging his threads--despite being a gimmick--but then it became too much. He kept starting multiple threads per day. Then OMR banned him.

There are members banned at this very instant that I wouldn't have problems with upon their return.

Live and let live is what I subscribe to, but I also know there are rules to enforce every now and then.
