Fury's best press conference was for his fight with David Haye. I am actually not surprised Haye pulled out of fighting Fury not once but twice because it was the first time he got out talked by his opponent. Haye was used to getting a mental edge by clearly winning the 'talk battle' in the run up to his fights but against Fury he clearly lost that edge and I think it dented him. Fury wasn't as good for this press conference I don't think anything he said will have fazed Klitschko.
I think the majority of the British public don't 'get' Fury, and what he does with all the trash talking. In the same way, a lot of posters on here don't understand other posters, taking them seriously when they are only building a funny persona and so on.
I started watching Fury from his first bout with McDermott, and once I had watched plenty of his other shit talking/training vids and interviews, I 'got' him, and instantly was a fan.
Once you get his angle, its entertaining as fuck! Great for the sport.
I don't understand how anyone can really hate the bloke, he doesn't even take himself seriously enough for that.
