the problem with pro-sports is the athlete makes their life time earnings is a few years. if they don't save or invest, it is over.

Someone working in a sweat shop in India probably thinks the same thing about the average American with a paycheck that's spent before it's earned.

The Indian would just spend it on curry and bows & arrows and whatever else they buy in lieu of deodorant anyway.

We aren't living in India brah, cost of living is higher here.

So are inducements to spend frivolously, which is where most people's money goes.  The baller wasted his at the club.  The average worker wasted his at the mall.  Same silliness, different scale.
