He's saying/doing everything right now, so who knows.

True but I think it's hard to hold that against Bonds.  Beyond a certain number indicating you get on base a lot, runs require other good hitters behind you in the lineup unless you're hitting 177 HRs.

I think that Canseco's, Giambi's, Sosa's, McGwire's, Bonds', Palmeiro's numbers seem to contradict your statement
