First Mosques, now satanic sculpture.  Is America going down?

Well, if there's a place on the planet where you will be convinced that not only the Devil exists but that he also rules, it's Detroit.

Religious hypocrites. They want to be able to practice their religion freely, but bitch and complain when another religion or ideology will be practiced. I have no problem with the statue, as long as its kept off government grounds. Churches put up statues outside their building, and that is fine. The same goes for this.

This is what you get when you have freedom of religion and expression. It just doesn't work one way.

It's funny. The Satanic Temple was organized as a way to stem the flow of Christian influence in politics and remind us that separation of church and state makes sense. The reaction the statue gets from Christians is hilarious.. but they can't see that the rest of us view their iconic religious statues and monuments on government land with the same distaste

Western Civilization, with all it's rights and liberalized ideology, is directly handed down from Judeo-Christian teachings and values.

You're welcome.

values like.. a raped virgin must marry her rapist? Perhaps you can beat a slave, male or female with a rod, as long as they can recover in a few days.... maybe picking up sticks on Sunday is worthy of being stoned to death.. those values?

Because those are so commonplace in western cultures.

Enjoy your Satan-run world. I am sure that it'll be very protective of your "rights"
