The one & only Arthur Jones at age 60 while he was on Forbes 400.  And to think he actually shows his face & is not painted orange??? Hmmmm.....

Must be Wes's daddy?

Jones was one of the best original thinkers.  Many of his basic ideas with HIT and nautilus are still valid.
Problem is/was many of his original ideas and machines were watered down and made less effective.

Far from it.  Give me an example of his behavior that would prove insanity in an insane world.  The feds went after him tax evasion.  He beat them in court repping himself & had the case "dismissed w/ prejudice".  A couple of wks later the FBI agent, Jack Anderson, who told Jones "Your goin' down!" went in for elective surgery & died on the operating table.  Jones said he never laughed that hard once he got the news.  They never F'ed w/ him again.

Jones used to give Mickey old bald tires off his Nautilus delivery truck (18 wheeler).  Mickey would tear the tire in half using his hands & feet in a kinda of prone deadlift movement.

Thanks for sharing some Jones history. I have seen the occasional remark about him, but never paid much attention. Guy lived an incredible life.
