What happens to republican candidates that attack trump?

Graham attacked trump, and he's not in the debate.  Perry called trump a cancer on conservatism (accurate, by the way), and Perry was scraped right off the 10th place position due to fox magically removing the 5th poll of 5 they were to use, and moving up the 6th poll to keep perry out.

Trump bragged today, those who attack him are cast out by voters.  Is this true?

Cruz is playing it smart.

Being low key. Sticking to his own message. Ready to pick up the pieces if Trump crashes and at the same time meeting with Trump in his palatial Manhatten estate in case The Don pulls through and needs a VP with legit conservative credentials(Cruz has a 100% conservative rating, highest in the Senate)

agreed.   Cruz knows what an ass trump is... but he knows the "base" is so defensive of trump right now, they'll shit all over anyone that points out the obvious about trump.
