Joon...not to be a dick or anything but you're criticizing work that's obviously still in progress.  You should have waited until they completely finished before you do a walk around and blue tape anything that needs to be fixed.  You need to calm down and bring the workers back because if you don't, they can take you to court and will win big time.....and you'll have an unfinished home.  In addition, other contractors will not take up the project without payment in advance because they all communicate with each other..

I pay good money for honest days work not people pissing about taking short cuts then making excuses and giving me lip service.
I always pay weekly basis PAYG to avoid shit like this and getting fuct, if they don't like it they can fuck off

That accent doesn't blend well with trying to act tough. I think if you went into some really bad neighborhoods in America and talked with that accent and tried to act "tough," you'd get destroyed in about 5 seconds.

There is your problem. I'd never do PAYG. Put it out to bid to a few reputable contractors, then go with the low bid. That way you know exactly what you're going to pay for something, and if it's not done to your specs and what was agreed on, you just withhold payment. Paying contractors weekly and being your own GC is a good way to drive yourself crazy and broke. Good luck with the renovation though, it looks to be a nice place.
