True Adonis, when you need renovations done on your house (minor ones), do you do it yourself? Or do you hire someone else for most projects done on your house? I assume the size of the job makes a huge difference.

When I redid my kitchen and bathrooms in Florida, I hired a WHITE GC to oversee the fucking sad-sack collection of Mexicans, Jamaicans and Haitians subcontractors. I paid him 25% on the total to keep those shits in line. Came in under-budget and on-time.

Both, depending on what needs to be done. I just repaired a 170 year old outdoor step instead replacing it. A contractor could have repaired it as well, but probably would not want to unless he was replacing all of the steps. I always try to repair first, before replacing.

But yes, depending on what needs to be done and the size of the job determines that of course.
