NOAA: Hottest July on record confirmed, warmest year possible

(CNN)—[Breaking news update, 11:16 a.m.]

The average global temperature for July 2015 was the highest for any month since record keeping began in 1880, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration said. The first seven months of the year also had all-time global record highs.

The latest global temperature data make it likely that 2015 will be the hottest year on record, the agency said.

man i live in the valley , its hot as shit out here, dry but man when the sun starts to set and hits my windows i have the 2 Ac's running full blast its still upper 90s in my living room, i been running both Ac's non stop for 4 months now lol

Go check the record highs for the day every morning; there are still a lot of records from the 30's that haven't been broken.
