Monday August 24 will mark 22 complete years of absolutely no alcohol for me,...not a drop.

Yes Im proud, yes Im bragging, yes I felt this deserved its own thread which a mod is more than welcome to merge into my 24 hour thread whenever they want

That is a huge milestone for someone in Recovery as they say. (I don't really know the lingo)

As it seems to be good for your happiness and well being, I'm all for it.

kind of a side note
I wasnt ever an alcoholic or in recovery--I barely drank

I just thought alcohol was stupid, as with drugs.

My line always has been, when it comes to drugs and alcohol---If I consume this product today, how will my life improve?

And I could never come up with a positive answer, so i never drank or did drugs

funny thing is all my legal problems came after i quit drinking

chicken--dog food--steak--dog food

Thought you maybe had a long, embittered, old salt-type battle with the drink. You just chose to not create a potential problem?

no,..no battle at all--got hammered a few times and acted like more of a moron than i act like now,..other than that i was a 3 beer under the table napping kind of guy

wasn't brand new, already had 4000 miles on it

and I cleared the first 30 feet of the ditch!! cant believe it held up as well as it did!!

did you know texting just passed drunk driving in terms of danger and accidents caused?
